2000 Artist Zodiac

The 1st (no name) Art Group Project

Our first project was implemented in 1999 and began with 12 artists. Each artist was given one of the 12 signs of the astrological zodiac. Our first “call for artists” was this:

“Remember those projects in school where you could experiment, have fun, and just make some darn good art? Well there’s no reason to stop! We’ve decided to implement collaborative projects for local artists who are willing to use and share their creativity with other artists. Inspiring each other through their own unique interpretation on a particular subject…”
