Big Kid Artists Helping Little Kid Artists…
This year, (no name) Art Group supports children in our area by fundraising for First Artists. First Artists is a national nonprofit organization that inspires creative expression by providing art supplies to children from low-income families. At a time when schools across the country are forced to decide between art classes, updated textbooks, and basic supplies, children are often denied access to art education of any kind. A life with art education holds greater hope for creativity and expression in other areas. That is why providing art supplies to children is such an essential task for First Artists and (no name) Art Group. Without art supplies it is that much harder for our children to enjoy lives of expression, imagination, and in some cases, hope. Our fundraising event will take place by means of a silent art auction. Entire proceeds will be donated directly to First Artists.

The arts provide children with opportunities to develop creativity, to learn the tools of communication, and to create multiple solutions to problems. The arts provide individuals a language that is universal, one that cuts across the disciplines and helps to bring more coherent meaning to our world. ~ Arts Education Advocacy, Americans for the Arts, Champions of Change: The Impact of the Arts on Learning, 1999
